CHRIS QUADRANT

Chris Quadrant, a name borne out of the early 90's Free Party scene, originally promoted and played at events across the U.K. Quadrant Sound System was a mainstay in Underground House scene for over a decade which saw them play across Europe and the U.S, eventually settling in the Czech Republic where they moved their regular club night, Rebound (voted as one of the top 20 club nights around the U.K by Mixmag, and on national radio) to Prague.

Chris continued to DJ internationally and as the 90's grew to a close, began hitting the studio. Within a few years he was releasing a whole host of tracks on various labels. His track Old Skool Junkie reached No.2 on San Francisco's Stompy.com download chart (only to be kept off the top spot by an up and coming Sonny Fodera) and stayed in the top 10 for over two months. Remixes included 2009's Groove Federation track Moving On, which hit No.1 in the Traxsource Breakbeat chart, and a bunch of other tracks which made up a small, but defining catalogue that is still supported by DJ's and played years after their initial releases.

But Chris didn't stop there, since 2014 he's been working with local vocalist Hannah Fay on a live project that's seen them play at many venues and small festivals, accompanied by the long-awaited release of the Electric Pulses E.P on renowned House label Myna Music. Post Covid saw a renaissance of the U.K underground House scene, so Quadrant regrouped and celebrated their 25th birthday with a packed club night in the U.K and with a festival in Czech Republic. And last but not least, Chris's ties to radio station MyHouseYourHouse has seen a 16-year partnership with the station grow with his popular sessions that showcase the House Music scene both old and new.
