RAY DICKERSON

Ray Dickersons background in music began at an early age when he discovered the drums and started grasping the concept of rhythm. He would later go on to enroll in college where he took Music Appreciation, Music theory, Piano and Snare/Drum set lessons. There he played in Jazz Band and the Jazz Improv combo as well. This is when he first listened to Miles Davis' Kind of Blue album, where it changed his understanding of music forever and sparked his interest for many differnt styles of music such as Chicago House and Detroit Tecnho.

Once having heard these elusive and lush syles of music, he began to dabble in music production himself. He now, has spent that last few years building his studio, developing his sound and learning the basics of mixing and EQ. Stay tuned for upcoming releases, where to date his debut release "No Way Without You" on House Trip Recordings has smashed into The Traxsource Deep House Top 100...
