RETO ERNI

Reto Erni was born in 1982 in a little mountain village in Switzerland. Already at a young age he was fascinated by electronic music. At the age of 15 years he bought himself two turntables and one mixer. The next record store was four hours away by train from the village. Therefore the effort was huge to get hold of some new records. Every little time and money he had, he would spend in the record store in Zürich. At only 16 years Reto started to mix records in bars and small clubs in Switzerland. At the age of 24 he decided go to study Audio Engineering at the SAE Institute in Zürich. At this time Reto created his own home studio and started to produce deep house and minimal tracks. Three years later he is able to perform a live act with his friend Renato Vitalini (le freaque) at the Hive club, one of the most famous clubs in Zürich. In the following years, he focused on his professional education and spare time for music was limited. He readopted playing and producing music when he discovered similar music styles and preferences with his friend Andreas Büeler (Squep). They both felt the urge to release their own music that they produced. In the beginning of the year 2019 they made one of their biggest dream come true and created their own label. This is were the story of framed realities begins.
