AMEER

DJ Ameer is a freshmen at NJCU in Jersey City, NJ. He showed an interest for Djing at an early age. By the age of 7 years old, he had his first Numark controller and his amazing ear for music blossomed. His passion is House Music, Classic House and 80/90s music.

He has worked fundraisers at Bergen County College to raise awareness for Men against Rape and Domestic Violence against Women. He played in Newark’ 24 Hours of Peace and many Summer House Music festivals including Weequahic Park, Lincoln Park and the Dance and Music Festival Passing the Torch ceremony in Silver Springs Maryland. He has played at the Renaissance Bronzville in Chicago. Dj Ameer played at the Peavey Booth at the DJEpxo 2018 in Atlanta City .In March 2017 he had the opportunity to open for Ultra Nate, Timmy Regis ford and Louie Vega in Miami Florida where he played the Winter Music Conference during Miami Music Week. Also in December of 2018 Dj Ameer was fortunate enough to be invited to OPOM's Christmas Party in London and did a live set on SG1House internet radio's Facebook page.

He has been nurtured by many of the seasoned veterans of the NJ House Music scene. Also he joined Black Coffee on a small leg of his world tour. While still djing, Ameer is able to maintain a 3.9 GPA, and make the dean’s list. Along with djing and school, Ameer is also a producer. Having released his first track with OPOM, called Are You Afraid, Ameer has dreams of becoming an accomplished producer and winning a Grammy someday.

He has a radio show called Soul and Spirit Fridays that runs Every Friday from London on WWW.SG1house.com and is also a resident on the Club Classics New York.
