SONTSHIKAZI

Thembelihle Hope Dladla popularly known as Sontshikazi, is a South African singer/songwriter born in Soweto on the 27 September 1994, grew up in Tembisa. She attended both Primary and high school in Tembisa, growing up she was an athletic person.
Sontshikazi has been exposed to cultural music and dance at a young age and thats where the music bug bit her. She grew to love music more when she started attending church and singing in an acapella group in her early teens.
She grew up listening to the late Mam Brenda Fassie and Brandy mostly, that's when she felt the inspiration to become a musician.
She started being a recording artist in 2020 and has since worked with various producers both locally and internationally. The likes of: TorQue MuziQ, Echo Deep, Atmos Blaq, Blanka Mazimela, Fiddla, Dr Feel, Streys de deejay, Native P, Vuyo Manyike, Splendour Dj Nova and many more.
She is a versatile vocalist that seeks to uplift and heal people. She writes and sings in most South African languages as well as Shona and Kiswahili. The genres she's done are :Afro house, Ama piano, Trapsoul
She performed alongside AlfaKat in the Ignite Africa event and various local events.
