SOLAZZ
DJ and producer Solazz, hailing from Barcelona, is a versatile artist who excels across various disciplines, including soundtracks, electronic music production, and DJ sessions. In the late '90s to the early 2000s, Solazz held the position of music producer at La Vuelta Teatro Company in Barcelona. His work extended to theaters, festivals, and halls across Spain and Europe, including notable events such as the Sitges International Theater Festival, Conservas, Espai Brossa, Triangle, Matadero Madrid, and the Mira Toulouse Festival, among others.
Between 2003 and 2005, Solazz held the prestigious role of Resident DJ at Club Clap in Mataró, and he showcased his vinyl-spinning skills at renowned clubs in Barcelona, including La Sal Club. In 2006, Solazz made a significant move to Ibiza, where he collaborated as a DJ on well-known radio stations such as Ibiza Sónica and Ibiza Global Radio. His weekly program, "Funkadelia," produced in partnership with José María Ramon, became a cornerstone of his radio career. Solazz has also performed live alongside Miko and The Band, the former guitarist of the iconic Prince, captivating audiences at venues like Somni, Veto, 9Nine, Lola's Club, Lips, Sunset Ashram, Malanga Cafe, and CBBC (Cala Bassa Beach Club).
As a founding member of the Fino y Gordo label, Solazz has joined forces with his partner Salvador Carmona to create the SUPA DISCO party, a celebration of House, Disco, and Funk. They hold a monthly residency at Malanga Cafe Ibiza and Lolas Club, delivering exceptional musical experiences to their audience. Additionally, Solazz has made his mark as a producer, making his debut on Night Shift Records with a stunning four-song EP titled "Highlife Disco." His remix for The Black Seeds also garnered attention. Currently, Solazz brings his unique Nudisco style to labels such as Discodown, Hot Gorilla Records, Robotical Grooves, Sundries, Two Pizza's label, Hotdigits and Black Riot.
