Zola Heather Tserema (Zothea Akifa) is a South African born Vocalist, Deejay, Songwriter, Emcee & Model

Although born in Mafikeng and raised in Randfontein (Mohlakeng) & Rustenburg (Mogwase) solely by her Grandmother who was one of the people to witness her rare talent

Zothea Akifa is greatly influenced by both local & international musical icons, from the 70's, 80's & 90's

In 2008, she worked with Patrick Mazibuko in her debut album "No Strings Attached" which is yet to be released In 2009, she then focused on performing and deejaying. She mixes tribal,vocal, soul and deep house in her hot set. She has performed in Mafikeng,
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and she is only
taking her talent further.

She is highly praised by her fellow DJʼs in the industry both men andwomen. She has currently recorded a single with The House Fyns called "Special Love" which is still to be released. In 2011 she recorded songs with Kyllex Faku (the SAMA award-winning producer who produced the hit album from the local series "Yizo Yizo").

In 2014 worked with DJ Jabbz on a song titled "My Sunshine" released in 2015 through New York label "Open Bar Music". 2015 saw Zothea Akifa being featured in Panache Boys (Music Escapeds) ontracks such as "Time" and "RealLove".

In 2017 Zothea Akifa relased her first international EP (Love Trail) with her mentor and business partner Czezre Adams from USA, New York .EP availeble on iTunes, traxsource, beatpot, Googleplay , and other online music stores.

Zothea Akifa is currently working on her release EP "Sori Vuku" Along side with collaborations of Mthi Wa Afrika, She is building to the release of her album yet before the album drops people can expect more singles from the multi talented singer, songwriter, Deejay, Performer & Co-founder also label artist at MWA Digital Record Label based in Polokwane (South Africa).
