DAN TENOR-CITY

Dan Tenor-City is a producer, DJ, radio mixshow presenter based in London, occasionally Miami, with a listenership for his mixes and productions that spans continents. Occasionally he does A&R and promotes for old friends and new.

Dan plays 'criss-cross' rhythms - from synth boogie, steppers, heady funk, funk rock, Afro-this, Afro-that, to soul, 1st & 2nd generation disco, house-with-soul, AOR disco, fusion and brash latin and roots reggae. Dan has been collecting music since the late eighties and can be found DJ'ing at various venues at home and overseas.

As a producer, Dan has two releases on Stockholm's Local Talk (with Tom Funk), and three releases on BBE, including the well-acclaimed "Oba" and "Fireheart" under the Deep Tenor City moniker (with Oli Savil). Dan is also associated with the Prescription Pricing Authority reworks project which has released three 7" on Sweden's GAMM Records.

Dan has been hosting shows on Soho Radio since-2017 and Back2Back before that. He's also appeared on The Lot Radio, Radio Raheem and Le Mellotron. His radio mixes for Deep Tenor City or as part of the 4 To The Floor collective are often times an intriguing journey, with a wide range of drops and messages combining with the very best in originals, re-edits and remixes, and released/unreleased tracks.
