James Grow makes his debut on Carpe Diem Musica with the scintillating Libertine EP. Remixes come from fellow debutants, Phonix and Waltz.
James's originals, 'Hank Moody' and 'Libertine' dive deep into his groove library and utilise every ounce of studio skill to deliver punchy, lively tech house.
The musical elements that hang from 'Hank Moody' caress the ears and elegantly provide tension as the track grows leading to a big pay off. Equally, the bumpy bassed, bongo-led 'Libertine' is most at home just on the edge of the dancefloor, grooving away in a world of its own until the acid drops and anything goes!
On remix duties, the mysterious Phonix takes hold of 'Hank Moody' and gives it a tougher, bass-led re-rub. While Waltz takes 'Libertine' in a wonkier G-House direction for added funk.
