Originally hitting the Schönbrunner Perlen "It's All About Music" compilation in November 2018, T Raum and The Wash opened proceedings with their progressive house gem "Final Round." Now revisiting the track, remixes for Yin and Yang come from U.S. and German talents.

Californian born but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Salt Lake City home, Donny Carr is a leading protagonist in the area's dance music scene. An accomplished DJ and saxophonist, Carr's legendary performances behind the decks has left enraptured audiences across Utah and beyond. A fledgling production career that began in early 2018 blossomed throughout the year with his immaculate blend of deep, tech and progressive house. A debut remixing Jerome Isma-Ae and Alastor for Jee Productions kickstarted a notable career, while further remixes of Stan Kolev for Freegrant and victory in Quivver's "8 Bit Eclipse" remix competition for Controlled Substance has found Carr seated at underground dance's top table.

Now debuting on Yang, the Donny Carr remix of "Final Round" takes the familiar cadenced foundation of T Raum and The Wash's original and treats it to a shaker-fueled percussive groove. Evolving elegantly, a swathe of emotive chord progressions and textured pads create atmosphere before a new arpeggiated motif produces a fresh hypnotic pattern. Waxing and waning with ease, Carr's skill is to take "Final Round" in a stunning new direction while retaining the original track's essence.
