Pulling into the station next is Luna City Express, alias Upon You co-founder Marco Resmann and Norman Weber under guise. Back on this platform, the pair cranks things up a notch with 'The Day After', a scorching-hot new three-tracker lined up for hi-intensity traction and revved-up boogie all the way, featuring Mathilde Hutfeld on vocals.

True to their idiosyncratic blender of style, merging the finest of bass-driven house, Chicago-infused anima and a trickle of dubbed-out hardware hoodoo, LCE has the pulse'o'meter going through the roof on their pumping title-track. Percolating a blazing mixture of Afro-funk and East-Coast style house laced into one smouldering piece of woofer-busting gunnery, Resmann and Weber pull out a seriously satisfying slice of sensuous backroom-ready electronics and laser-precise programming, tailored to bring any dance floor to an imparable simmer.

Each delivering their own personal interpretation of the original for good measure, Resmann and Weber dish out a pair of complimentary belters. While Weber's take has us surfing a mad tide of jacking floor dynamics, sizzling sub-bass whorls from hell and an avalanche of choppy percussions beating the fiercest of tempi, Resmann goes the distinctly deeper, further immersive dub route. Clad in supple steel and FX-drenched frequencies, his version is a low-slung, heavy-lidded modular chugger in its own right, bound to hack brains and corrupt souls by the dozen.
