Belarusian born but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Polish home, Kostya Outta continues
to blossom after a decade spent honing his craft. Now, making his Proportion debut, Kostya
releases "On Waves" for the Dmitry Molosh led imprint.

Equally at home behind the decks, myriad performances at gigs and festivals across Europe in
Warsaw, Barcelona and Hamburg, has led to shared stage appearances with the likes of Robert
Babicz, Aly and Fila and Dmitry Molosh himself. In the studio, a connoisseur of the underground
dance scene with a sound that has evolved into a blend of fascinating rhythms and atmospheric
melodies, Kostya Outta has seen over 200 production credits grace some of the finest modern
labels since a 2012 debut for Deep Nota. From Afterglow Records and Mango Alley to
Deepwibe Underground and Statement!, the Kostya Outta portfolio continues to grow apace,
supported by such esteemed figures as Guy J, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo.

Now making his first appearance on Proportion, "On Waves" is an elegantly imagined offering
that opens with a heavy beat, crisp rhythmic shell and cadenced clave pattern. A muted
arpeggio weaves its magic as sumptuous pads and evolving sonic textures create a dense and
swirling atmosphere. White-noise sequences pulsate at the breakdown as motifs extend their
reach before snare rolls and pitched risers herald a return to the club-friendly combination of
rhythm and melody in the second half.
