The latest release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes SHADYandFRIENDS (PK) and Lucas Romagnoli to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Pakistan and Argentina respectively, both ShadyandFriends and Lucas are established names in the global progressive house scene. With a combined discography highlighted by releases via BCSA, Droid9, For Senses, Transensations and more, the duo now combine their extensive forces for the first time, making their Dopamine White debut with ‘Astral Movement'.

‘Astral Movement' finds the duo with a strong creative synergy as they craft a melodic progressive cut that's perfectly styled for peak time play. Rhythmically charged, its smooth pulsating cadence, panoramic designs and mesmerizing percussion set the piece on a course for hypnotic enlightenment. Bending tonal themes marry perfectly with misty atmospheres and orbiting effects across the main break, expertly building anticipation as modulation peaks and warm bass swells emerge, eventually propelling the track to a thumping drop and groovy finale.

The companion piece ‘Reload Monday' continues the smooth progressive minded flow with a gorgeous hypnotic narrative. A rolling low end sets the track in motion as hopeful pads, wavy arps and buoyant rhythms move through the framework as the main break approaches. Foggy and melodic in equal measure, the interlude sits at the core of the storyboard, with its timeless atmospheric appeal growing in scope, eventually revealing rolling meditative structures, as the beats drop for a mesmerizing conclusion.
