Tash's Movement Recordings rounds out the month of January by welcoming Nosh and SJ back to the label for a new EP. Emerging in 2013, the Indian duo quickly became residents at some of Mumbai's trendiest nightclubs, while their distinct sonic aesthetic landed them key production credits via Dopamine Music, Eat My Hat and Juicebox Music. 2023 marked the duo's Movement Recordings debut with the well-received ‘Energy High' EP, a two-track showcase with both selections still sitting atop the duo's Beatport Best Sellers almost a full calendar year later. Now, as 2024 begins to take shape, Nosh and SJ make a welcome return to Movement with their second artist showcase ‘Unleashing The Power'.
Nosh and SJ's keen dancefloor sensibility is always present in their productions and the title selection ‘Unleashing The Power' demonstrates that perfectly. Dark and energetic from the outset, the duo assembles a powerful selection of razor sharp stabs, crunchy rhythms and robotized vocals, sitting atop a framework of spacious basslines and thunderous kick drums.
