DER009 Released 11 April 2011 Remote People & Ed Maddams - For The Night Ep Wurlitzer Deeper Seven Arms Ladycake She Deep Edition's 9th release sees Remote People & Ed Maddams Debut on the label, after originally spotting these very talented guys back in august 2010 we've had to wait a little while to get them pinned down for deep edition, with their very own unique style of slow house and disco elements this was a sound worth waiting for. From what started as mixing drum and bass over eight years ago, three lads from Cambridge Wil Maddams, Mike Hartley (Remote People) & Ed Maddams have made massive strides in electronic music, to say the least. Mike and Will formed together to produce and dj under the name Remote People originally mixing minimal, tech house and the slower end of techno after a trip to Ibiza left them obsessed with the sound. After producing liquid drum and bass Ed's style changed to reflect the French electro sound, which came out in his early productions such as MAW! pt2. Where their music tastes changed over the years, the lads have found there favored style of house and disco which gives us DER009, A five track collaboration swelling with deepness. warm sounds, jackin grooves and catchy rhythms. An Ep sure to catch attention!
