No New comer to Dancefloors, Residences, Festivals and Tours well-regarded Groovecreator started out Djing and collecting vinyl in 1986 and set out to establish his sounds way back during his regular appearances at Limelight between 1993 & 1996, generating bookings at venues such as Club Code: Tokyo, Japan; Return To Burn: Rio Isabela, Tao Room, The Cave Dominican Republic, Skizzo in Monterey, Mexico, The One in Colorado as well as countless domestic appearances, such as The One@ The Roxy w/ Derrick May & Saunderson., Palladium, Save The Robots, Santos Party House, The Tunnel, Sullivan Room Output/Panther Room.

in 2002 Groovecreator landed a monthly residency at the infamous Centro-Fly (Nyc) & 2005 at Avalon (Nyc). He's featured on Carl Cox's Global CD with his peak time 'Tribal Drumz" on Warner Brothers since his first dubplate "I've Got Enough" got played on Carl's 1998 Essential Mix Live @ Space, Ibiza & at Twilo (Nyc).

Chicago's Roy Davis Jr got a hold of "I've Got Enough" and then signed it to his Label Undaground Therapy Muzik (Chicago) back in 1999. He's been on labels: Ph Recordings, Miles End/Griffintown Records, Shine Music & Currently on Creative Limited Recordings and also on his own imprint along with label mate and artist Lii Yirah (LRD) Infinite Xperiments Recordings (InfX).

His thinking "outside of the box" and conjuring new sounds, remixes & reworks considered outside of pre-existing House and Techno trends resulted in major residencies under his belt, such as Limelight, The Asylum/Kaos, Centro-Fly and Avalon.
His best-known collaboration (called "Steve Porter meets Groovecreator") was "1990", a series of Detroit-esque, Chicago-influenced mixes, which landed Groovecreator a deal with Shine Music, along with the Filterheadz. "1990" was found on Max Graham's MixMag Live Cd (UK), Carl Cox's Top 10 (May 2006), Damien Carter's House Music.De Pt.2 (Milk & Sugar Germany), Paul Van Dyk's Radio Show VONYC.com and most recently on Emma House 2014 20th Anniversary (Avex Trax Japan).

In addition, Groovecreator's releases & remixes have had support and Chart Play from Carl Cox (Ultra Music Festival - Resistance 2022, Kappa Futur Festival, Timewarp, Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland & Creamfields) Danny Howells, Roy Davis Jr., Laurent Garnier, The Blessed Madonna (BBC Radio 6), Carl Craig & Maceo Plex.

His track called 'Mambo De Chocolate' featuring highly talented live drummer Curtis Watts also had massive support from Carl yet again played on 3 different Global Radio shows also live in germany (Time Warp) and billboards in Australia. His Throwback Remix of "Slide" by chicago legends Roy Davis Jr. and Robert Owens lid up Boiler Room in London & Chicago.

His latest remixes by Lii Yirah - "TF8" (Groovecreator Rework)(on his InfX Recordings label) & Roy Davis Jr. - "The Untold Story" (Groovecreator Re-Take)(Creative Ltd. Recordings) are currently being supported By Carl Cox and his American and European tours, Aired on BBC Radio 6 Recently By The Blessed Madonna, Roy Davis Jr's Exclusive Resident Advisor DJ Mix & Maceo Plex's Tour to name a few.


Groovecreator having over 30 years in the scene, is an international Sounding caliber Artist, Producer, Remixer & DJ. His style lies between the gray areas of Jackin House & Jackin Techno yet rooted in Chicago House & Detroit Techno and are as upfront & current today as they were back then.
