KAPOTE

KAPOTE aka Mathias Modica lives in Berlin and runs Toy Tonics records with two friends. As Kapote he makes jazz and funk infused house and lofi disco.

He has this special warm, soulish sound made with vintage keyboards, drummachines and snippets of rare records. The Kapote sound is a mix of electronic prodcution and live played instruments. Kapote plays several instruments: bass, percussions, keyboards. So there is lot of chord progressions and solos going on Kapote's fabulous tracks.
