HOUSEHERR

Marcus Reisiger, better known as HOUSEHERR, began his DJ career in the late 1980s and quickly became a resident at one of Germany's hottest venues, the legendary Theaterkeller. The club regularly hosted international DJs and artists, including Marshall Jefferson, Mick Hucknall, Kym Mazelle, and Public Enemy.

In 1987, after returning from New York and Chicago with the latest House and Acid gems, Marcus became deeply immersed in the HOUSE scene. That same year, he performed at one of Germany's first-ever ACID parties at Hamburg's iconic KIR.

Over the following decades, Marcus played at countless clubs and events, including Bol Beats Croatia, ECHO, Berlinale, and his own HOUSE HEAVEN parties in Hamburg, featuring renowned guests such as Groove Assassin, Tracy Hamlin, and Victor Simonelli. He is also the founder and resident DJ of Hamburg's famed EFFENDEE parties.

In early 2019, Marcus took a bold step, leaving his job and own company to pursue a lifelong dream: producing House music. This marked the birth of HOUSEHERR. His first label release, Keep The Faith, was signed to TRAKTORIA Records in 2020 by Enrico BSJ Ferrari (Black Legend) and featured the captivating vocals of Hamburg's FEE.

Since then, HOUSEHERR has continued to release infectious four-to-the-floor tracks, drawing from a rich palette of influences, including Disco-Boogie, Philly Sound, Classic House, and Acid House.

In December 2024, his latest track, The Chord, will debut on the Hamburg-based label electronic groove culture. The energetic production fuses elements of Piano, Deep, and Tech House, enhanced by vibrant, soulful vocals.
