For over two decades Pru Fiddy has had many guises in the dance music scene: as a DJ, radio presenter, booking agent; to writing for dance magazines International DJ and Mixmag, to photographing clubs and festivals across Europe, to booking world-class bands. Ultimately time spent being a lover of the music and the people she's met along the way.

A true clubber and music baby in every sense, Pru making music has been a long time coming: but it's indeed been worth the wait. Pru is a prolific artist, musician, composer and singer in her own right and her late 80's and early 90's house influences are clear with her deep progressive chords, sample style lyrics and lush bass-lines. In essence, Pru Fiddy is putting the rush back onto the dance-floor.

With her first five records all being signed straight away, her debut release 'Always Thinking of Ya' came out in 2020 sitting alongside the likes of Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper on the Parlay Summer compilation for SoSure Music. This was followed in 2021 with an epic collaboration with house heavyweights Soul Central. Signed to Electric Mode Music, 'Rise Again' continues to make an impact and get a lot of love.

Pru's most recent track 'Going Places' on So Sure Music made a big entrance last summer, featuring Richard Beesley of the Brand New Heavies & Disclosure on saxophone, it has had acclaim from the likes of Moplen, Lenny Fontana and Dave Lee. With a remix on the way from Danism & Train, Pru's lush summery pool side sound continues to thrive.
And this summer, Pru has set her sights transatlantic with a brand new EP with New York label Fortune Signal, 'The Time is Now' caters for any dancefloor taking us on a journey across new and old school with hot NY producer Malik Hendricks on remix duties.

Pru is still busy in the studio working on new material bringing lots of live elements to the music, mixing up the genres across acid jazz, house and soul and keeping it fresh but not forgetting her old school roots.

After some time hiding down in the studio basement Pru is back on the DJ circuit, and also experimenting with drum & bass tracks under her new alias Proof of iD. So look out for that too - and don't forget to bring it with you!
