Founded in 2000 by Matthew Herbert, Accidental is now celebrating 22 years of releasing independent electronic music from across the globe. Now it incorporates Accidental Jnr - a sub-label to release all manner of wonky techno and left-field house, strictly electronic/dance/club 12"s but also IDM with its new Room 2 series and Accidental Editions imprint, set up to partner with some of the art world's most prestigious institutions to produce limited edition releases of music and sound works from their projects.
