L-Vis 1990's Construction Mix (5:21)
Fresh from the Grizzly European tour (celebrating 2 years of the label) and stints at SXSW, WMC and Ultra Festival, and never one to rest on his laurels, London via LA's Sinden is set to release brand new single 'Keep It 1000' on May 28th through his own imprint.
Going in a little deeper than recent releases, it's a moody, rolling club track, big on hi hat and Sinden's trademark tropical percussion with a touch of the Far East in the breakdown, and a growling vocal commanding us to, you guessed it, 'Keep It 1000' (if you're not down with your street parlance, to keep it 100 is to keep it real. Sinden? He's keeping it extra real).
Remixes are called in from Night Slugs king pin L-Vis 1990, who - taking a cue from his recent Club Constructions Vol. 1 release for his own label - aims square for the dancefloor with a hard-edge, peak time rework. Strap yourself in for this one.
On the flipside, dark horse Duke Dumont delivers a thrusting underground techno remix that gets us very excited indeed about his upcoming releases for Tiga's Turbo.
With DJ support coming from Claude Von Stroke, Eats Everything and Radio 1's Jaymo & Andy George for starters, this one's a biggie.
Keep it 1000.
