Returning with the 7th installment of his "Perspectives Around The World" series, Darin Epsilon's label sees artists from across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America gather with fresh and innovative new music.

Bert Pleng came to the attention of Darin from a chance encounter at Beatport's "Curator Speed Dating" event during Berlin Dance Event. Impressed by the UK based artist's production talent, the pair stayed in touch for weeks after the conference, and now a demo submitted to the label has led to Bert's debut production being signed to Perspectives Digital. "Dopamine" is Melodic Techno that bristles with bassline verve and sparkling arpeggiated intensity. A spoken vocal adds intrigue and a dancefloor-friendly element as the track rises and falls with ease. Filtered energy surges to a spine-tingling zenith with pads and arpeggio combining to dazzling effect.

Hailing from the Italian capital, Ethan Heich has carved out a long and illustrious career performing in the clubs of Rome. A move to Ibiza saw him perform regularly in his adopted home before creating the successful Ibiza Vibes party with Mariano Matutes. A nascent production career that began in early 2017 has since led to releases on the likes of Awen Records and Clubbers Groove. Now debuting on PD, "Desert Storm" is a powerful and emotive track that is characterized by a rapid-fire bassline sequence and thumping kick drum. Building in intensity with fizzing white-noise crashes, an acetylene-edged arp keeps energy high and a well-placed key change always leaves the listener wanting more.

Born into a transitional Chile towards the end of Augusto Pinochet's brutal regime, Rafa Silva's upbringing in a country of shifting power and mass contradiction shaped the young Chilean's musical perspective. Involved in a range of cultural activities, Rafa eventually combined classical piano, sound design, and production know-how into a successful formula that has seen releases on Ritter Butzke Records, Poker Flat, and Balance Music as part of Hannes Bieger's 2022 compilation album. Returning to Perspectives Digital after a successful remix of Cary Crank, "Tabula Rasa" is a smoothly cadenced track that revels in rolling groove and mesmerizing bass sequence. A modulated single-note arp combines with smooth pad progression into the breakdown before a gloriously incongruous retro house phrase heralds the return of familiar bass and rhythmic components.

Growing up with a range of multi-cultural influences from her childhood in Sri Lanka, London, Dubai, and India, Rïa Mehta has used those influences to create her own unique sound steeped in deep harmony and melodic structure. Rïa's cross-genre music productions have subsequently found their way onto esteemed imprints that include Desert Hearts Black, Somatic Records, Modern Agenda, and Inner Shah Records. Joining forces with Boston-based guitarist and producer, Jack Willard, who has seen support from Above and beyond, Nora En Pure, and BBC Radio One, the duo's debut on Perspectives is an evolving melodic gem. Shimmering and glistening through subtle textures and vocal-infused lead line, a breakdown of beautifully arranged piano chords then provides a tender moment of emotion within "Duality". In between club-friendly snare rolls, a strong kick and light percussion supplies a rhythmic anchor, while growling bass adds intensity.

The final track finds Russian vocalist, Ira Ange, continue her starring role in the underground dance scene. Carving out a career as one of the few DJs to simultaneously sing during her sets, Ira has spent the past 15 years honing her craft having worked with the likes of Gorge, Robert Babicz, Kolombo, and Martin Eyerer. With performances across the globe under her belt, Ira's vocal talents have graced a double-century of production credits on the likes of Beatfreak Recordings, Dear Deer, and Lost On You, among many others. A working partnership with Israeli producer, Serge Bosin, whose promising career has seen music on Beatfreak Recordings and Capital Heaven since his May 2023 debut, now sees the duo combine on PD with "Oumuamua". Redolent in trademark Melodic Techno vibrancy, the driving beat and relentless bass sequence create an intensity that only increases with a filtered and rising arpeggio. Reaching a glorious denouement, Ira Ange's vocals float in ethereal fashion over a stripped back breakdown before melodic elements are introduced once more. Moving into the second half, an intricately cadenced, multi-layered vocal pattern is introduced which adds gravitas and club-friendly vitality into an impressive debut for Serge Bosin and Ira Ange.
